The K.O.Z.A. Project
This was my small winter project. Ever since solid fuel stoves were banned in Krakow, I have missed the sound of crackling wood. I found an old cast iron stove in the basement, in a truly terrible condition, and with broken knobs. It felt wrong to throw it away. I also had an old Raspberry Pi 2 that needed a purpose. So it all came together like this, and the stove got a new life as a lamp.
Originally, I wanted it to be able to play Discover Weekly from Spotify as well. Unfortunately, for about a year now it has not been possible to use algorithmic playlists through the API. So in the end there are only various ambient soundscapes and internet radio.
